Mangaka of Suzume, Denki Amashima will be at "Manga Talk Session" in Mumbai.

The tickets for the premiere event of the Suzume film, which includes a Q&A session with Makoto Shinkai, are now available for purchase.

On Monday, Supersugoii's official Instagram page announced that Denki Amashima, the manga artist behind the adaptation of Makoto Shinkai's film Suzume (Suzume no Tojimari), will participate in a "Manga Talk Session" at Rachna Sansad College of Applied Art & Craft. On Sunday, PVR Pictures revealed that tickets for the premiere event of the film are now available. The manga adaptation of the film was launched in Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon magazine on October 25.

The film will be shown in Indian theaters from April 21. Before attending the premiere event on April 20, Shinkai will participate in an autograph session on April 19 and a Q&A session with attendees. The cast for the Hindi dub has been revealed, and the film will also be released in Japanese with English subtitles.

The film opened in Japan at #1 on November 11, selling 1.33 million tickets and earning 1.88 billion yen (about US$13.49 million) in its first three days. As of March 26, the film has earned a cumulative total of 14.31 billion yen (about US$109 million), surpassing the lifetime Japanese box office earnings of Shinkai's previous film Weathering With You (Tenki no Ko). It is now the 14th highest-grossing film of all time in Japan and the eighth highest-grossing anime film in Japan.

The film is directed and written by Shinkai, who is also credited with the original story. Nanoka Hara voices the heroine Suzume Iwato in the film, while Hokuto Matsumura makes his voice acting debut as Sōta Munakata. Masayoshi Tanaka designed the characters, Kenichi Tsuchiya was the animation director, and Takumi Tanji was the art director. The movie was produced by CoMix Wave Films and Story Inc. and distributed by TOHO. The film's music was scored by Kazuma Jinnouchi and RADWIMPS, and the theme song "Suzume" was performed by Toaka.
