The manga adaptation of the film was launched in Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon magazine on October 25.
The film will be shown in Indian theaters from April 21. Before attending the premiere event on April 20, Shinkai will participate in an autograph session on April 19 and a Q&A session with attendees. The cast for the Hindi dub has been revealed, and the film will also be released in Japanese with English subtitles.
